Youth Group (6th–12th) There is no youth group tonight. Come join us next Sunday, September 8, from 6:00-7:00 for our fall kickoff. We’ll continue our current study as we look at the evidence for why we believe what we believe.

Bible Explorers (3’s-5th) A new year of Bible Explorers, our midweek children’s discipleship program, starts this Wednesday, September 4 from 6:15-7:30. We’d love to have your child with us for engaging Bible lessons, Scripture memory time, and fun games.

Operation Christmas Child OCC items for September are school supplies. 

Promotion Sunday Today’s the day! We are “moving up” all the kids and teens to the next grade in our church’s children and teen classes. During the service today, we will honor all the youth, but will especially recognize those transitioning from one Sunday school class to another. 

We are grateful to partner with parents in our 1BC Kids and 1BC Teens Sunday classes:

• 0-2 years old – Nursery
• 3-4 years old – Little Sprouts
• Kindergarten-5th Grade – Elementary Sunday School and Treehouse
• 6th-12th – Teen Sunday School and Youth Group

First Sunday Offerings We are thankful for those who partner with us financially through their offerings. As a reminder, any loose cash given on the first Sunday of each month is designated for the church’s benevolence fund.

No Evening Service There will be no evening service tonight in order to allow families more time to get together over the Labor Day weekend.

Church Office The church office will be closed on Monday.

Bible Explorers Kickoff You are invited to our Kickoff Party for Bible Explorers this Wednesday from 6:00-7:30 PM. There will be bounce houses, lawn games, and food! Come enjoy an evening together with families from our church and community. As our church family will all be together, there will be no Adult Bible Study and Prayer Meeting.

Church Softball Come out Monday at 6:30 to the FOP field to cheer on our church softball team as they start their tournament!

Numbered Offering Envelopes We recently placed an order for new numbered offering envelopes. If you would like to get a box of envelopes to help facilitate your family’s giving, please contact the church office.

OCC Award Our church has been recognized with an award for being a drop-off point for the past five years for OCC. We are so thankful for Ralph and Tammy Hart spearheading this ministry. We couldn’t have done it without our church family who have faithfully given and supported these efforts to make the gospel known worldwide through the gift of a shoebox! Thank you!
