Operation Christmas Child OCC items for October are postage and prayer. You can give any time by writing “OCC” on your envelope or check memo line. If you have any items that you did not have a chance to donate throughout the year, you can always drop them in one of the boxes in the Narthex.

OCC Packing Party Join us for our packing party on Sunday, November 8. We’ll gather in the Fellowship Hall starting at 5:00 PM to pack hundreds of shoeboxes to send around the world! See Ralph or Tammy Hart for more details.

Fall Cookout Come on out to the ROC for our Fall Cookout tonight from 5:30-7:30 PM. The church will provide hot dogs and drinks. Bring a lawn chair and a side or dessert to share as you are able.

Community Outreach We will be hosting our community trunk-or-treat this Saturday from 6:00-7:30 PM out in the ROC. We can accept candy donations through Wednesday. Our prayer is that our community knows we are here, we love them, and, most importantly, that Jesus loves them.

Youth Group Activity Next Sunday, October 11, the Youth Group will be going to Lark Ranch. After the service, we will eat lunch together and then leave from the ROC at 12:00. We will be back for pickup at 7:00. The cost is $20 plus money for dinner. See Pastor Bobby with any questions.

You can get involved by volunteering to decorate a “trunk” and pass out candy, helping run a game station, or being a door greeter. We will also be collecting candy donations (wrapped candy only) in the box near the Welcome Center.

Nursery Volunteers We are looking for a few volunteers to join our once-a-month rotation for serving in the nursery. See Pastor Bobby for more details.

Youth Devotional We still have several devotional books for kids and teens available at the Welcome Center. Grab one today!

Wednesday Prayer Meeting Prayer meeting will start back up this Wednesday from 6:30-7:30 PM in the library.

Youth Group A new semester for Youth Group will begin next Sunday as we welcome our new 6th graders. Parents of all teens, please plan to join along with your teen from 6:00-7:30 PM.

Promotion Sunday It’s here! Today our young people are “moving up” to the next class in our family discipleship ministries. Our classes and ages are set up as follows:

• Nursery for 0-2 years old.
• Little Sprouts for 3-4 years old.
• Elementary for Kindergarten-5th grade.
• Youth Group for 6th-12th grade.

We are thankful for the opportunity to partner with parents to point their children to Jesus!

Pregnancy Choices Today we welcome Julie Morris, the Executive Director for Pregnancy Choices. Julie will be sharing a ministry update with us during the morning worship service. There will also be a free-will offering to support the work of this ministry. You can designate your gift by writing Pregnancy Choices on your check or envelope.
