Weekly Update for Sunday, September 25, 2016

Men’s breakfast and work day: Saturday, Sept. 24 starting at 8:30 AM.
Ladies Bible Study: Beginning Thurs., Sept. 29 from 12:00-2:00 PM. We will study the Gospel of Mark, with Lisa Harper. The study will last 7 weeks with a cost of $20.00 for books. Cynthia Frederick will collect the money.
Our church will have the Glenburn service next Sunday, Oct. 2 at 3:00 PM in the Family Room.
Sarah Mission Circle meeting: Mon., Oct. 3 at 1:00 PM in the library.
Operation Christmas Child: The last day to bring in boxes is Nov. 13.

Trustee meeting: this Sunday following the morning service (JOY classroom).
Deacons meeting: this Sunday at 4:00 PM.
Operation Christmas Child: Prepared boxes are set up by the Welcome Center. For more details, please see a Sarah Mission Circle member.
September is “Baby Bottle” month! Just take a baby bottle, fill it with change, cash or check and return it to the church by the end of the month. This helps Pregnancy Choices as they reach out in the community. The bottles are located at the Welcome Center.

It’s time to start packing shoeboxes for Operation Christmas Child. There is a table set up by the Welcome Center with boxes ready to take with you, if needed. Please see anyone in the Sarah Mission Circle for instructions on what is acceptable to be put in the boxes. More information will be available in the near future.

Sarah Mission Circle Pitch-In Lunch: Aug. 8 at 12:00 PM in the library to kick off our new year of missions. Tammy Hart from Operation Christmas Child will be speaking. Anyone who is interested is invited.
