Weekly Update for Sunday, November 6, 2016

Trustee meeting: Sunday, Nov. 13 following the morning service.
Official Board meetings: Sunday, Nov. 13 at 4:00 pm and Sunday, Nov. 20 at 4:00 pm.
Thanksgiving basket donations: (Non-perishables) Deadline is Nov. 10.
Operation Christmas Child deadline: Nov. 13. Gifts for the 2-4 and 10-14 age ranges are particularly needed.
Those interested in helping as greeters in 2017, please sign up at the Welcome Center.
There will be a pitch-in dinner on Thanksgiving this year. There is a sign-up sheet on the east side. If you need additional information, please contact Pam Robertson or Charlene Dornick.
If you’re interested in volunteering to help with the Christmas song service on Dec. 2 at 7:00 PM contact Becky Mitchell.

Pitch-in Dinner: this Sunday, following the Morning Worship Service. Please come to help show our love and support for Pastor Dave and his family. Even if you are a visitor or new to the church, please join us-we want to love and support you, too!
Sarah Mission Circle meeting: Mon., Oct. 31 at 1:00 PM in the library. (This will be considered the November meeting.)
There will be an Official Board meeting at 4:00 PM on Sunday, November 13 and at 4:00 PM on Sunday, November 20.
Thanksgiving baskets for non-perishable donations are located in the east and west entrances.

This Sunday at the close of the morning service in the sanctuary, there will be a short special business meeting. This meeting has been called for the trustees to ask a question regarding our antiquated fire alarm system. This is the sole purpose of this meeting.

Men’s breakfast and work day: Saturday, Sept. 24 starting at 8:30 AM.
Ladies Bible Study: Beginning Thurs., Sept. 29 from 12:00-2:00 PM. We will study the Gospel of Mark, with Lisa Harper. The study will last 7 weeks with a cost of $20.00 for books. Cynthia Frederick will collect the money.

September is “Baby Bottle” month! Just take a baby bottle, fill it with change, cash or check and return it to the church by the end of the month. This helps Pregnancy Choices as they reach out in the community. The bottles are located at the Welcome Center.
