There will be no evening service this Sunday evening so that families may spend time together for Father’s Day.
For security purposes, we need a third person to work with the married couples who work with the children’s programs. There is a sign-up sheet at the Welcome Center for those who are able to do so.
This Sunday: we will have a pitch-in fellowship meal after the morning service.
C.E. board meeting: June 11, 6:30 pm. We will be finalizing the Block parties, so if you are in charge of any part of that or are interested in helping, please come.
On Pentecost Sunday, June 9, we will have a pitch-in fellowship meal after the morning service. Meatloaf, ham loaf, cheese potatoes and bread will be provided. Side dishes and desserts are needed.
There will be no evening worship service this Sunday in observance of the Memorial Day holiday.
The church office will be closed on May 27.

Open Arms Christian Home will be opening a boy’s facility in the old Lyons nursing home. This will provide emergency housing for boys ages 8-15 and long term residential placement for boys ages 10-15. It will house a total of 10-15 boys. Open Arms needs the following donations: Boy-themed/colored towels, washcloths, toothbrushes, boys shampoo & conditioner, bar soap, boys deodorant, combs, band aids. There will be a box set up in the foyer for donations from now through June.
There are copies of the Official Board Report on the Welcome Center for anyone who is interested.
Graduation Sunday: this Sunday, with dinner to celebrate after the service.

Mother’s Day dinner: May 20, 6:00 pm.
