• This Sunday: There will no evening service, AWANA, or Roots Youth Group so that families may gather for the Labor Day Holiday.
  • Church Work Day: Sept. 12, 9:00 am. Sign-up at Welcome Center for jobs that need to be done.
  • Sarah Mission Circle meeting: Sept. 14, 1:00 pm in the library.
  • Finance Committee meeting: Sept. 20, 4:30 pm.
  • The Pregnancy Choices Center needs volunteers. Please see our bulletin boards for more details. Also, it’s time for the annual Baby Bottle Campaign. Take as many bottles as you wish (located in the east foyer), fill them with money and return them at the end of September. This helps fund important programs within the center.
  • Roosevelt Mission Food Pantry needs volunteers to help distribute food to needy families. Boxes are filled Thursday from 1:00-3:00 pm and given out Friday from 1:00-4:00 pm. They’re providing food for approximately 60 families a month. Without volunteers they may have to shut it down. Go to 77 Vincennes St. or call Jerry French at (812) 847-8110.
